I just read this post on LiteralDan, and had to share it because it's good to have reminders of the everyday ways that our country is full of a*&holes who don't care about the fate of our southern neighbors.
And I love this quote from the Mexican government: "We are going to start by inviting people to leave ... the moment will come when we will have to make it obligatory." I don't know if I could be so polite in the face of such douche-baggery!

As the storm died down, I was waiting to hear about a ferocious mini storm system centered right over that guy's head.
I was disappointed.
